not now

there are no wreckless clouds
sailing the space abandoned by rainbows
across the bluest of blue spring skies

no wind flowers brighten the crevices
among the delicate strengths
of sunwarmed mountain rock

no violins play almost silently
songs of spring, songs of innocence
against the golden wafer of sun

not today
not now
that you are gone.
